Orville Redenbacher Popcorn With Bowl

Seriously, this is why I do reviews.

In the mail yesterday I received a box. Who doesn’t love getting boxes in the mail? It’s one of my favorite things! This box had some scribbling on the side, declaring the writer a ‘96 graduate of H-F HS. (If you know where I live you know that’s my local High School – we moved here so my kids could attend. It has a good reputation.)

My kids are popcorn fanatics so it was great to know before trying it out we already had a good chance of a success with the review. Before I even opened the package both girls did their best to open the clear packaging while yelling, "Popcorn! Popcorn!" the whole time. I eventually had to use scissors because the ribbon was tied tight around it, which is fine, because that kept it from emptying all over the inside of the box.

My Expectations

It’s popcorn, how can this possibly be a bad thing?

The Results

The kids preferred the Movie Theatre Butter flavor while the husband and I liked the Smart Pop flavor (you can only have so much butter on your popcorn, in my opinion) – Overall everyone was very happy. My kids loved it, we loved it (and the movie we had it with.) It was a hit.

Conclusion

Orville Redenbacher’s is a favorite around here for a few reasons. One, the taste is good. Two, it’s the only brand I never burn. Third, and probably most important, it has less unpopped kernels when all is said and done than any other brand I’ve ever tried. The bowl is super cute and easily holds a package of popcorn.
