My daughter loves it and was able to use it RIGHT out of the box - this video is right after it was assembeled. I didn't give her any time to practice or prepare. When I was a kid I caught my shoelaces many times in my training wheels and I was a lot more awkward when I turned it around than she was. Training wheels made it darn near impossible to turn a bike - and the kids that I know that do have training wheels aren't lifting up their bikes, either. I'm sorry you don't like it, but you're making judgements without ever having seen anything but my video, which shows my daughter being a ROCK STAR on the bike. Please don't tell me why I put knee pads on my child. I don't tell you that you had to get a cheap bike because you're don't have a choice, not because it was a good value, do I? I think it was $49. The bike is heavy that three year old in the video files would not be able to life the bike. She is wearing knee pads to protect her knees from the bike not the ground.
