Cloth Diapers – Happy Heinys One Size

Have you ever seen a cow print diaper? Have you ever seen a cuter diaper? When this little piece of adorableness arrived from Simple Wonders Diapers, I nearly squealed with excitement.
But would the Happy Heinys usefulness hold up to the cute? Would it contain the ever changing results of a new-to-solid-foods baby? Would the “one size” actually be small enough for my tiny little peanut who weighs 13 lbs at 8 months and yet be large enough to fit a friend’s toddler? And most importantly, would the DH say “enough is enough” with the cloth diapers and quit on me?
Stay tuned to find out!
Cloth Diapers – Prefolds

Hello again, and welcome to the second review in our Cloth Diapering series. Today, we are going to talk about prefolds.
Prewhats? Prefolds. When you think about cloth diapers, this is probably the first thing that comes to mind. It’s a large rectangle of thick fabric that folds into thirds. The diaper can then be placed into a wrap, pinned with the diaper pins we all remember, or secured with a snappi.
This is the part of cloth diapering that felt the most overwhelming to me, so lets see how it works?

I thought everyone on Earth had a diaper genie, or had at least heard of them! I certainly never imagined that a mom with two kids in diapers, who uses disposables, wouldn’t have a diaper genie. I was wrong! (Hi Jen!)
These things are in all the magazines, all over the t.v. news shows whenever they cover “nursery necessities”, and I thought were pretty much ubiquitous. Learn something new every day.
Moby Wrap Baby Carrier

I’m a baby-wearing mama, so let me preface this by saying I’ve tried a ton of wraps, slings, carriers, and stuff. Heck, I’ve even thought about stuffing the kid in my husband’s backpack. He vetoed the idea though because he thought she might damage his laptop.
Moby Wrap was recommended on a few forums, but I’d never seen one in person. I went to the Moby site, and it looked too good to be true. I had been fighting with an ill-fitting sling all day, and had a fussy baby and an ache in my shoulder that could maim a horse. The concept of a wrap that put her weight over both shoulders, and my lower back was thrilling.
I ordered one.

From the heart of Margaritaville and in the spirit of Jimmy Buffet, boat drinks, and land sharks everywhere…today’s review is the Key West™ Frozen Concoction Maker™ from Margaritaville Cargo.
I’ve always been a fan of Jimmy Buffet (although I never admitted to it when I was younger!) I even attended a concert once when I was younger. It was fun, a complete good time, and margaritas were had by all. So when I heard there was an opportunity to make margaritas at home with a product licensed by Jimmy himself? You know I jumped at the chance!
